Itinerary

Stop At: Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park and Reserve, Shimoni KWS HQ Kenya

Our credited driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. You will have the opportunity to see coastal properties and palm plantations along the way. Upon arrival, around 08:00 am, you will board a boat and sail on the Wasini canal. The day is dedicated to relaxation and observing a stunning and colorful environment. Highlights include snorkeling in the Kisite-Mpunguti marine park to spot dolphins and possibly turtles. Dolphins spotting are not a guaranteed experience as we will be in the open ocean (95% chance of spotting dolphins). Enjoy an excellent lunch of Swahili food and then a historical visit to the fishing villages of Wasini and Shimoni.

After snorkeling in the marine park, we head to this village where we will try the fantastic Swahili food. Indulge in the authentic flavors of Swahili cuisine in the comfort of our locally-inspired setup. Stop At: Slave Caves, Shimoni Kenya
A community-run historical site about the slave trade. We will understand the slave trade and its abolition. This is after we return to Shimoni

Pick ups commence between approximately 6:45am and 7:45am from Diani beach.Departure to the marine park depends on park ticket processing by the Kenya wildlife service.

Dolphin tour and snorkeling in kisite marine park / wasini island
Pass By: Shimoni, Shimoni, Coast Province

You will be picked early in the morning at 7:30 am from your hotel and drive to Ukunda town and catch the Mombasa lunga lunga road to shimoni.Here you will stop and pay for the marine park fee. At 9:00 am, you will bord an Arabic dhow which will cruise you to kisite Marine Park. But on the way the captain and his cruise will pull up their socks so that you can see the friendly dolphins on the way. This is not guarantee but its 90%.In case you don’t find them on the way, you can spot them at the snorkeling area and have fun with them.
When you reach at Kisite Marine Park, this is the place where you are going to snorkel. For those ones who do not know how to swim, there is enough water taxi and a water guide (they will never be alone!) they should not worry.

NB Please note that we do not swim with the dolphins only watching them.
