This is a short wildlife safari to the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy which is known for the northern white rhinos and is home to 5 of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo & lion). You will enjoy an afternoon game drive on the first day, enjoy a morning game drive on the second day before leaving for Nairobi in the afternoon. Please note that you can also enjoy a night game drive organized by the camp at $ 90 per person. You will have the opportunity to view coffee and tea plantations, the Equator crossing and should the weather allow, you get a glimpse of the snow-capped Mt. Kenya peaks

The conservancy is home to unique animal species including Grevy Zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Grant white-tailed mongoose, Tre hyrax, eland, and chimpanzee among others.

Itinerary

Departing from Nairobi after breakfast, you'll make the drive north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive on time for lunch at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp. Home to both the Big Five and the Special Five (Grevy's Zebra, Rothschild Giraffe, Besia Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and Gerenuk), the conservancy offers a fantastic game drive experience the likes of which you won't be able to find in other parks. There are then a variety of activities that visitors can choose from for their afternoon such as lion tracking, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, visiting Baraka, the blind black rhino, or exploring the Education Centre. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp.

Wake up at first light, grab a cup of coffee and leave the camp for the morning game drive at 6:30am in search of the big game. Return to the camp for a full breakfast and later checkout and depart for Nairobi where your will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
