3-Day Ol Pejeta & Ngare Ndare Tour

Day 1 :

Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

We will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi, preferably at around 07h00. We will head toward the fertile central highlands of the Mount Kenya region. We head to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki at the base of Africa's second-highest mountain, the snow-peaked Mount Kenya.

You will arrive early enough to freshen up and have lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, depart for a game drive in the game-rich conservancy. Look for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and a chance to see all of the Big 5. You will go to the rhino sanctuary, home of the last 2 Northern white rhinos in the world where you will interact with Baraka, the blind rhino. You will cap your tour with a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place to see chimpanzees in Kenya.

Day 2 :

Ol Pejeta - Ngare Ndare Forest

Today, after breakfast, you will depart at around 08h00 with a packed picnic lunch and head to the Ngare Ndare Forest. Here, you will have a guided forest canopy-walk and a waterfalls visit, not forgetting a chance to swim in the natural pool if the weather permits. Remember to carry comfortable hiking gear and swimming costumes.

This excursion will end in the afternoon when you will head back to your accommodation at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy with a game drive on the way back.

Day 3 :

Ol Pejeta - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out and have an en-route morning game drive out of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Drive back to Nairobi and arrive at approximately 13h00 (approx transit time of 4 hours). You'll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
